Beloit Municipal Airport, also known as Moritz Memorial Airport, sits on the west edge of Beloit at an elevation of 1,420 feet. The airport's current runway is 3,610 feet long and there are plans to extend the runway to accommodate mid- sized jets.
The most current project underway at the airport is a reconstruction of the pilots lounge. Once complete, the lounge will be a place for pilots to relax while waiting on passengers.
The Beloit City Council realizes what an asset the airport is to our community and is working with the FAA to continue upgrades and expansions in the future.
