A Message From the Chief of Police
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our department page. My name is Chad Lackey and I have been with the Beloit Police Department since 2014. Please review the information below to learn more about our department.
Location
We are located on U.S. Highway 24, 12 miles east of beautiful Waconda Lake, which offers some of the best recreational opportunities in North Central Kansas. This is a very strong Agricultural area with some Manufacturing businesses and excellent school systems. North Central Kansas Technical College as well as a public school system, USD #273, and private school, St. John's, are located in Beloit. According to the 2018 safewise.com survey, Beloit is ranked as the 12th safest city in the State of Kansas.
