Located in Chautauqua Park, the newly renovated and developed swimming pool, opened for the first time in May of 2012, and is a welcome addition for the Beloit Community and surrounding areas.

Passes can be purchased online by visiting MyRec.
Pre-Season Pool Passes will be sold at the Municipal Building on
Wednesday, May 10th 11:30am to 1:30pm and 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

- 16 years old and up
- 6 to 7 PM daily except holidays
Lap Swims
- Two lanes will be marked off for lap swimming
- If no one is swimming laps by 5:15 we will open the section up to all swimmers
- Tuesday and Thursday - 5 to 6 p.m.

Slide Rules at Chautauqua Pool
All loose items including sunglasses, watches and other jewelry and metal including swim suit rivets must be removed before going on any slides. Patrons must be over the recommended age for the speed slide.

General Rules at Chautauqua Pool
- The orange slide will have a height requirement of over 48” tall
- Paid admission or pass is required of all persons entering the pool area whether swimming or not.
- Children 8 and under must be accompanied by management approved supervision.
- Children must be within arm’s reach of approved supervisor if unable to swim.
- Swimming ability restrictions apply to certain features.
- NO glass container, alcohol, smoking, tobacco or drugs allowed at the facility.
- Those entering the pool with any infected sores, skin rash or skin disease (i.e. ringworm, scabies) or diarrhea will not be permitted without written permission from a physician.
- Proper swimsuit attire must always be worn.
- NO cut-offs, rivets, zippers or any metal will be allowed on slides.
- Lazy River Tubes are free for use, but are available first come, first use basis.
- Swim diaper must be worn by children not toilet trained.
- For safety of all patrons, a cleansing shower MUST be taken before entering pool
- Floatation devices and toys are subject to daily approval of pool manager.
- Patrons should always walk in the pool deck area.
- Behavior that is unsafe, rude, abusive, or profane will not be tolerated.
- A lost admission pass will have a replacement charge.
- Those using the Drop and Speed Slides MUST be able to swim on their own.
- Anyone age 16 years or younger that leaves the “fenced- in” pool area will not be permitted to return to the pool the same day unless a parent/guardian accompanies them to the pool admission window upon their return. This includes those both using pool passes and those paying admission cost.
- “Toddler Area” is ONLY for those 3 and under WITH adult supervision.
- Management has the right to review, change, and establish rules as deemed necessary for everyone’s safety.
- Please notify the area lifeguard, who will notify the pool manager, in case of any injury as soon as the incident occurs.
